The opportunity

Altus Group has an opportunity for a Graphic Designer within our Corporate Marketing team. This is a brand new role working with the Senior Manager, Brand and Creative Services to implement a new global Altus Group brand as well as help shape the future creative direction. This is a role for someone who wants to apply their in-depth business acumen bringing process and synchronicity across disperse locations. Where you now - and what does the future hold?

You are a graphic designer with 3 to 5 years proven hands-on experience. You are looking for that rare opportunity to be the foundation of the creative team and to help roll out a corporate brand for an established global company that is continuing to expand its offering and grow in new markets. You want to work on bigger projects and have a voice in the strategic planning process. You have the business acumen to work with internal clients at all levels including the Executive Leadership and external vendors. At the same time, you want to maintain an artistic and graphic design role.

Our new Graphic Designer will:

  • Assist in implementing a new company brand and drive new creative identity across the company.
  • Create brand identity guidelines and usage documents
  • Design all print and digital design elements including collateral, presentations, website and related digital graphics, tradeshow banners, ads, etc.
  • Design compelling creative assets such as infographics, workflows and icons.
  • Support corporate and businesses as needed (presentations, proposal content, etc)
  • Develop easy-to-use templates and provide recommendations on usage to enhance efficiencies.

On a day-to-day project basis, you will:

  • Own projects end-to-end and work autonomously to achieve project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Brand and Creative Services to manage project requests from internal teams.
  • Act as a support point person and liaison between all internal teams.
  • Ensure branding is met and carried throughout all print and digital channels.

Our new Graphic Designer will have:

  • A degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, business or technology.
  • Graphic design & technical skills. Demonstrated Adobe Creative Suite proficiency with emphasis on Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro. High proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • End-to-end expertise.  Plan and manage project timelines and work effectively within budgets and objectives.  Highly detailed and meticulous.
  • Relationship building expertise. Experienced working closely with internal stakeholders and end-users to identify business needs for digital and print graphics and content.
  • A sense of ownership. You enjoy working autonomously and taking responsibility for your deliverables. You are a forward thinker and can innovate solutions to keep the project - and the business - moving forward.
